1. Introduction

BeautyOS is a software-as-a-service platform designed for beauty salons, nail studios, spas, barbershops, hair salons, and wellness centres. It is operated by Stockwise Business Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account and using BeautyOS you agree to these Terms of Service in full. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Use of the Service

BeautyOS is provided for lawful commercial use by beauty and wellness businesses. You agree to:

Use the service only for your own business operations
Keep your login credentials confidential and not share them with unauthorised individuals
Ensure any client data you store within BeautyOS is collected lawfully and with appropriate consent
Not attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or resell any part of the platform
Not use the service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the platform or interfere with other users

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms without refund.

3. Subscription and Payment

BeautyOS is offered on a subscription basis. Pricing is displayed on the sign-up page and within the app. The following terms apply:

Trial: New accounts receive a free trial period (14 or 21 days). No payment is required during the trial.
Billing cycle: Subscriptions renew automatically on a monthly or annual basis depending on your chosen plan.
Payment: Payments are processed securely via Stripe. By subscribing you authorise recurring charges to your payment method.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. Your access will continue until the end of the current billing period.
Refunds: We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods once a billing cycle has started. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact support@beautyos.co.uk within 7 days.
Price changes: We will give at least 30 days notice of any price changes before they take effect.

4. Data and Privacy

Your use of BeautyOS involves the processing of personal data. Please read our Privacy Policy to understand what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. By using BeautyOS you accept the terms of our Privacy Policy.

5. SMS Credits

Paid subscription plans include a monthly allowance of SMS texts for appointment reminders. The following conditions apply:

SMS credits are granted at the start of each billing period and do not roll over to the next period
Additional SMS credits can be purchased as a top-up at any time
Top-up credits are applied manually by our team after payment is confirmed, typically within a few hours during business hours
SMS credits have no cash value and cannot be refunded
We reserve the right to suspend SMS sending if we detect abuse or misuse

6. Limitation of Liability

BeautyOS is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stockwise Business Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of data, or business interruption.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of BeautyOS shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to us in the three months preceding the claim.

7. Service Availability

We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated where possible. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party services including Stripe, Brevo, or our hosting provider.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by displaying a notice within the app. Continued use of BeautyOS after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
